The Houston Texans made roster moves.

John McClain knew Bob and Janice McNair for more than 30 years, and the stories he shared were ones only he could tell.

The very first Texans sideline reporter was John Granato, and let me tell you, getting him back with John Harris and I to tell stories from the early days was one of the most fun shows we've done in a long time.

We came into the studio on Tuesday night with very heavy hearts. Janice S. McNair, co-founder and Senior Chair of the Houston Texans, passed away at the age of 89. She was a Houston treasure, an angel and the first lady of this franchise.

I've been fortunate enough to emcee every Ring of Honor ceremony. To be on the mic as Janice McNair was immortalized at Reliant Stadium last season is one of the great moments of my career.

"Janice McNair was a woman of extraordinary generosity, grace and faith, whose impact on the Houston community and the NFL will be felt for generations," Commissioner Goodell said.

Houston Texans Co-Founder and Senior Chair Janice S. McNair passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the age of 89. She is survived by four children, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

"Whenever the ball snaps, the game time is here, it's time to go play," Horton said.

"It's always nice going into year two of an offense instead of having to fully install the entire thing for the first time," Mills said.
