A total of 10 people were shot, eight of them fatally, with the victims' ages ranging from 1 to 14, following the horrific scenes on Saturday night, according to police.
The victims are as young as 18 months old, police said. The suspect, an adult male, was shot at the scene in Bossier Parish, Shreveport.
The victims range in age from one to 14 years old. The shooting occurred around 6 a.m. on Sunday, according to Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith. He said a total of 10 people shot.
Shreveport Police Department spokesman and public affairs officer Chris Bordelon said at a morning news conference that a total of 10 people were shot, of which eight, all children, were killed.
