Fire breaks out at a school in northern Nigeria, killing at least 17 children

At least 17 children have been killed in a fire at an Islamic school in northwest Nigeria. The country's emergency response agency says 17 others were injured in the blaze early Wednesday in the Kaura Namoda district of Zamfara state.
