Minnesota has named Brett Larson its men's hockey coach. The Gophers turned to in-state rival St. Cloud State for a second straight hire after they agreed last week with Bob Motzko to make a coaching change.
Larson had a 153-116-23 record as St. Cloud State's head coach and was recently a finalist for the Wisconsin job that went to Mike Hastings.
