On Tuesday September 16, Katharine - who preferred to be called Mrs Kent - was laid to rest at Westminster Cathedral, surrounded by Royal Family members.
Today is Katharine Worsley's funeral and while the Duchess of Kent was the proud mother of three children - two sons and a daughter - she had a 'longing for a large and mutually supportive family'.
