The team signed former Appalachian State running back Ahmani Marshall to the practice squad on Thursday.

The Panthers general manager talked on Tuesday about roster cuts, moves made and moves not made, and what lies ahead as they continue to work on the roster. From linebackers to QBs to the offensive line, he covered a lot of ground.

They filled the final spot on the 17-man practice squad by bringing back the 2023 fourth-round pick, who was waived on Monday. He adds experienced to a young offensive line group.

The team added two more players to the practice squad on Tuesday, bringing the total to 16. They have one spot remaining to fill on the practice squad.

The Panthers did a bit of work on the Bears Tuesday, but they also were getting to know this roster after working together as a full team with a practice squad for the first time since cuts. Plus more on QBs, returner, new faces, and more.

The team added linebacker Tyrel Dodson and defensive lineman Anthony Goodlow to the roster prior to Tuesday's practice. They still have three remaining spots.

New tight end Darren Waller will wear 88, after a temporary stint in 35 when he arrived late in camp. He was among a group of players who switched it up heading into practice this week.

After signing his one-year deal Monday afternoon, he'll take the practice field today for the first time. But it will feel like he's been here for years, because of his background with teammates and coaches.
