Mojtaba Khamenei has been appointed Iran's new supreme leader, succeeding his father more than a week after he was killed in U.S.-Israeli strikes. NBC News' Raf Sanchez reports on the new leader as he now takes over a country in turmoil.

The president made the remarks at his resort in Miami more than a week after U.S. and Israel initiated strikes on Iran. He did not give a timeline on ending hostilities.

"I am sitting at home with a headache and my mouth tastes bitter," one resident of the Iranian capital told NBC News.
