Six days into the investigation into last weekend's mass shooting at Brown University, authorities said Thursday that they're looking into a connection between that attack and one two days later near Boston that killed a professor at MIT.

Authorities probing the Brown shooting also told NBC on Thursday that a person of interest in the shooting has been identified, and a warrant is out for their arrest.
