Bill Gates told the co-hosts of "The View" on Tuesday that he was worried about the Trump administration's steps to scale back USAID, and said it could lead to millions of deaths.
'So I'm a little worried, particularly with this USAID stuff,' Bill Gates said during a Tuesday interview on The View. 'They're not actually worms that work there.'
"I've given over $100 billion, but I still have more to give."
The Microsoft founder's comments came after Elon Musk, the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, shut down the USAID headquarters on Monday.
"Hopefully, we'll get our act together before the next one comes."
