The Chicago Sky waived point guard Hailey Van Lith after drafting her in the first round last year and signed guard Natasha Cloud on Monday.
Natasha Cloud, who went un-signed during free agency, has finally found a home.
The Chicago Sky have waived Hailey Van Lith, with sources telling ESPN that the move was due to the coaching staff's 'style-of-play preference.' Chicago also announced it signed 10-year WNBA veteran guard Natasha Cloud.
Cloud won a WNBA Championship with the Washington Mystics in 2019 and is a three-time All-Defensive team member.
The 24-year-old guard, who spent her college career with LSU, endured an underwhelming rookie season in 2025 largely due to injuries and a lack of minutes on the court for her team.
Hailey Van Lith's time in Chicago has come to a sudden end despite a strong preseason.
