B2Gold (TSX: BTO) leads TSX gainers as Mali grants the Menankoto Exploitation Permit, securing Fekola Regional's production growth pipeline.
B2Gold said the Mali government granted the Menankoto exploitation permit, which together with the Dandoko exploration permit, comprise Fekola Regional.
B2Gold has more than 3,300 workers in Mali, and pre-stripping plus tolling work will begin after the Menankoto permit was issued on Aug. 7.
B2Gold sold its 70% Fingold interest for $325M and repurchased $92M of shares; 2026 gold production is expected at 820,000-920,000 ounces.
