"This deal is a gift to our adversary and a betrayal of our Allies; it should be rescinded," the senators wrote.

The significant sum comes as Alaska becomes a pivotal Senate battleground.

House Democrats are going after Rep. Tom Kean, and spending to hold on to a tough Maine seat and two seats the GOP gerrymandered to win in Texas and Florida.
