EXC: Oliver Ryan, the 29-year-old MP for Burnley, was a leading member of the group along with now sacked health minister Andrew Gwynne, where he has posted more than 2,000 messages.
A Labour MP has said he "deeply regrets" comments made on a WhatsApp group - a day after health minister Andrew Gwynne was sacked for leaked racist and sexist remarks posted on the same chat.
Andrew Gwynne's constituents have reportedly urged him to resign as the Denton MP after Keir Starmer sacked the Labour minister for racist and sexist WhatsApp chat messages.
Andrew Gwynne was sacked after comments he made in a WhatsApp group were uncovered by the Mail on Sunday. A minister has suggested action could be taken against others in the group.
The messages were exchanged in a group called Trigger Me Timbers, which Mr Gwynne shares with more than a dozen Labour councillors, party officials and at least one other MP.
