The Demon's Tomb puzzle is part of a main mission in Sukhothai in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. In this guide, we will show you how to solve this puzzle.
While playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, you'll realise how much solving puzzles and uncovering mysteries is emphasised in this game, and the longer you play, the better you realise that Machine Games really wanted you to feel like a true Indiana Jones, surrounded by so many things you can discover.
Every main mission will, at some point, feature a puzzle that you'll have to solve to uncover the next peace of mystery or open the door to the next opportunity. The only problem with the main mission puzzles is that, if you want, you can oversimplify them by lowering the puzzle difficulty and by using the camera for the puzzle hints.
However, with some puzzles, even this method won't work because to find the next clue, you'll have to explore and think a bit harder. One such puzzle is the Demon's Tomb puzzle, which features three different keys and three different locks to complete.
How to solve the Demon's Tomb puzzle
Prior to entering the puzzle grounds, you'll already have two required keys (Circle Key and Cross and Circle Key) in your possession because you'll have to solve a couple of puzzles of the same making.
Inside the tomb, you'll see three different stones with the keyholes and one more central stone that needs to be activated once the other three are unlocked. The first thing you need to do is go upstairs and whip-yank the handle above the huge head statue to let the water flow through canals.
Once you do this, return to the stones and activate the two on the sides; they must be activated first because they will make the third accessible, and they can also be activated by using only Circle Key and Cross and Circle Key.
Unlocking the stones is pretty simple—you just have to align the signs inside three rings. You make them rotate by putting a key inside and make them stop by pulling a key out.
Now, it is time to find the Cross and Diamond Key, the third key required for unlocking the third stone. As you stand in front of the stones facing the stairs, turn right and once you pass over a small bridge, go a bit to the right again and look up to see the whip prompt.
Use the whip and climb the wall, and use it again to swing over to the other side. Now, jump from the other side to the pillar with a nest and pick up the third key. Jump down and solve the third stone by combining all three keys. Once it is solved, the final stone will appear. Put all three keys inside it, and the puzzle is done.
