Dirty air now linked to hospital admissions for mental health - study

St Andrews University scientists linked nitrogen dioxide in particular with higher hospital admissions for behaviour disorders and mental illnesses. The air pollutant comes from burning fossil fuels like petrol in cars or gas in boilers.
